Students thrive when they have clear goals and milestones to achieve. One way they do this at PFMA is through our Musical Ladder testing program. We have been using the Musical Ladder system for many years now and we love all that it offers. Here are the top reasons we love the Musical Ladder:
1. Our students are pushed to practice their skills and work hard to pass off their test. This encourages more practice!
2. It sets realistic goals that our students can achieve so that they can make great progress on their instrument.
3. It develops confidence in our students as they can see tangible results in their hard work.
4. It helps to celebrate the important milestones in learning music. Each test represents a new level and also an amount of time the students have been learning in their lessons!
5. It brings lots of smiles to our happy school! That is worth gold!
All of our students under age 18 are automatically enrolled in this wonderful program. We love giving away certificates, wristbands, and trophies and celebrating as our students pass their tests.
Keep up the great work! Dawn Elmer, Academy Director

We are pleased to announce Veronika as the Post Falls Music Academy student of the month!
Veronika is 9 years old and has been studying piano for 1 year and voice for 6 months.
She is a 3rd grader at Treaty Rock Elementary.
Her favorite color is sky blue. She loves to eat raspberries. Yum!
Her favorite song to play is “Fϋr Elise”
When she is not playing piano or singing, Veronika likes to listen to Pentatonix!
Her teacher, Johnny, says: “Veronika is a hard worker and super smiley all the time. She always wants to learn challenging songs to get better!”
Congratulations Veronika for your hard work and awesome attitude.
If you miss a lesson, you can sign up for a FREE make-up class! We have them every month for every instrument. All you have to do is sign up at the front desk in our Make-Up Class binder. They are scheduled out in advance and they never expire! Sign up for as many as you want!
Each lesson is tailored individually, for the way the student learns best. We take into account age, experience, personality, and learning style. We teach ages 4 - adult! It's never "too late" to learn how to play music.
Lessons are first come, first serve, so contact us today to arrange your first lesson!
(Lessons are available seven days a week )
